  • Hsin Cheng, Kuan-Ying Chiu, Zhong-Yun Hu and Jun-Yong Lin participated in 2017 EE Project Competition. Their team project "Smart Bike Lock", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the First Winner Award.
  • Xin-You Chen, Kevin Zheng and Hao Yang participated in 2017 EE Project Competition. Their team project "Autonomous Path Following Control of a Blackboard Cleaning Robot with Gravity Compensation", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Runner-Up Award.
  • Jun-Jie Yang, Hongda Lin and Yu-Shun Zhuang participated in 2017 EE Project Competition. Their team project "A Smart Personal Service Robot", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Outstanding Award.
  • Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D. has been promoted to full professor.
  • Yang-Sheng Haung, Hong-Wen Chou, Pei-Ying Chang, and Zhi-Zhe Li participated in Tenth EECS Golden Hand Award Competition. Their team project "3D Pipeline Inspection Robot", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang,Ph.D., received the Outstanding Award.
  • Wei-Fan Kao now works for Pegatron Corporation as a software engineer. Jhu-Jyun Chen now works for Foongtone technology as a software engineer. Chi-Cheng Wang now works for Axiomtek Corporation Limited as a software engineer. Jian-Yu Chen now works for XAC Automation Corporation as a software and firmware engineer.
  • Yang-Sheng HuangHong-Wen ChouPei-Ying Chang,and Zhi-Zhe Li participated in 2015 EE Project Competition. Their team project "Pipeline Inspection Robot for Real-Time Mapping", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D.,  received the First Winner Award.  
  • Ren-Yi JiangYi-Zhu LiaoHuang-Sheng Lin, and Jun-Ting Ye participated in 2015 EE Project Competition. Their team project "A Quadcopter System for Object Recognition", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Runner-Up Award. 
  • Tse-Feng YuTzung-De Jou, and Guang-Ming Liu  participated in 2015 EE Project Competition. Their team project "Flying Control of a Quadcopter", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Outstanding Award. 
  • Our lab member, Yang-Cheng Huang, received admission to continue his Master’s study at ISL.
  • Hong-Yi Li, Si-Bei Chen, and Jian-Shun Wang participated in 2014 EE Project Competition. Their team project "Face-tracking Aerial Robot for Self-portrait", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D.,  received the First Winner Award.                                                                         
  • Jing-Wei Wang, Zong-Yue Zuo, and Yi-Hang Chen participated in 2014 EE Project Competition. Their team project "Automatic Following Aerial Recorder", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Runner-Up Award.                                                                      
  • Tai-Yan Jhuo, Guan-Ming Ke, and Meng-Ci Chen  participated in 2014 EE Project Competition. Their team project "3D Matching Application for Household Objects", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Outstanding Award.                                                                      
  • Our lab member, Si-Bei Chen, received admission to MSEE program in Control Engineering, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, NTUT. 
  • Prof. Wen-Chung Chang received the Sun-Duei Chang prize recognizing his outstanding contribution in practical research.                                                                                                                                                                    
  • Our lab members, Chia-Hung Wu and Huan-Chen Ling, both received travel support for presenting academic papers in an international conference in Japan from the Ministry of Science and Technology.

  • The cooperative research "Radiotherapy system adapted to monitor a target location in real time" by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, GIAT, and Mackay Memorial Hospital receives the first prize and wins the INST Platinum Award in 2014 Taipei Int'l Invention Show & Technomart.
  • Hao-Xian JianHui-Sheng Ni, Bo-Yuan Xiao, and Zong-Ying Li . participated in 2012 EE Project Competition.  Their team project "CameraBat – An Indoor Flying Surveillance System", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Runner-Up Award.
  • Bo-Xun Wang Jia-You Yan, Chien-Chi Lai, and Yu-Wei Li  participated in 2012 EE Project Competition.  Their team project "A Small Flying Sphere System for Inspection", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Runner-Up Award.
  • Yi-Chen Chen Ke-An Huo, Hsien-Jung Hsu, and Zong-Syuan Cai participated in 2012 EE Project Competition. Their team project "Vision-Based Helper Robotic Systems for the Elderly in Household Environments", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Outstanding Awards.
  • Yi-Xuan GaoGuan-Hong Lin, Bo-Xun Huang, and Zi-Yao Hong participated in 2012 EEProject Competition.  Their team project "Window-Crossing Cleaning Robot", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the First Winner Award.
  • Jian-Da Tong, Yi-Ting Xiao, Zhi-Sheng Zhen, and Xin Li  participated in 2012 EE Project Competition.  Their team project "Gesture-Controlled Line-Throwing Flying Rescue System", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Outstanding Award.
  • Our lab member, Chia-Hung Wu, took the first place in the admission list for the Ph.D. program in control engineering, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, NTUT.

  • Guan-Yu Lai, Ya-Lan Tang, Gyi-Chang Jhen, and Min-Jie Guan . participated in 2011 Electrical Engineering Final Year Project Competition organized by NTUT. This team project "Water-pouring Robot Using Video and Speech Recognition", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Runner-Up Award.
  • Yi-Xuan Ceng, Huan-Chen Ling, Ying-Han Liao, and Sheng-Xiang Ruan  participated in 2011 EE Project Competition.  Their team project "Image and Sound Follower Biped Robot", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D., received the Outstanding Award.
  • Yi-Huan Weng now works for Philips Lite-On IT Corporation as a firmware engineer.
  • Cheng-Wei Lin now works for the NB Hardware Division at Pegatron Corporation.
  • Cheng-Hsiang Lei, Jia-Ren Hung, Ha-Hsiang Cheng, and Wei-Jur Yang received 2011 NTUT Sunshine Fellowship - Excellent Result in Competition Awards.
  • Chia-Kai Shao and Guo-Rung Syu received 2011 NTUT Sunshine Fellowship - Student Paper Awards.
  • Wei-Jur Yang, Jia-Ren Hung, Cheng-Hsiang Lei, and Cheng-Hao Hsiang participated in 2011 Annual Technical and Vocational Students Competition.  This team became First Winner for Electrical Engineering Division with their project "Window Cleaning Robot", supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang, Ph.D.  The competition is organized by Department of Technical and Vocational School, Ministry of Education, Republic of China.
  • Cheng-Hsiang Lei, Wei-Jur Yang, Jia-Ren Hung, and Hao-Hsiang Cheng participated in 2010 EE Project Competition.  Their team project "Window Cleaning Robot" received the First Winner Award.
  • Bo-Chiuan Chen, Jian-Jhou Lai, Heng-Chin Chu, and Bo-Yu Huang participated in 2010 EE Project Competition. Their team project "Sound-Tracking Robot using Condensed Microphone and Infrared" received the Outstanding Award.
  • Ping-Rong Chu and Nguyen-Van Truong received 2010 NTUT Sunshine Fellowship - Excellent Result in Competition Awards.
  • Nguyen-Van Truong, Ping-Rong Chu, Chia-Kai Shao, Guo-Rung Syu, Tai-Chia Tsao, and Bo-Sian Chai received 2010 NTUT Sunshine Fellowship - Student Paper Awards.
  • Cheng-Hsiang Lei won 2009 Physics Competition held by College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
  • Cheng-Hsiang Lei won Calculus Competition held by College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science on  December 15, 2009.
  • Ping-Rong Chu and Nguyen-Van Truong received the Outstanding Paper Award in 2009 CACS International Automatic Control Conference.
  • Chia-Kai Shao received 2008 NTUT-Alumni Association Scholarship.
  • Bo-Sian Chai and Chih-Wei Cho participated in 2007 Creative Robot Competition held by Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affair.  This team received the Third Winner Award for their work "Floor Cleaning Robot".
  • Our team participated in 2004 National Science Council Poster Competition.  This team received the Outstanding Award for their work "MARS: Mobile Autonomous Reconnaissance System (2/2)" supervised by Prof. Wen-Chung Chang.
  • Chih-Wei Cho received the Best Student Paper Award in 2006 CACS Automatic Control Conference.
  • Dong-Ji Sie, Cing-Siang Syu, Yun-Che Chou, and Jia-Cyuan Huang received the Outstanding Award in 2005 National Science Council Project Competition for their work "Visual Guided Robot" in Control Engineering Division.
  • Dong-Ji Sie, Cing-Siang Syu, Yun-Che Chou, Jia-Cyuan Huang participated in 2005 EE Project competition. Their team project "Interactive Visual Servo Robot" received the First Winner Award.
  • Tsung-Ming Hung received 2005 NTUT Sunshine Scholarship.
  • Chung-Jwu Chen won 2005 Engineering, Science and Technology Scholarship from China Engineering Consultants.
  • Sen-Yi Chen, Min-Yi Ko, Yung-Cheng Lai, and Po-Cheng Liu received the Outstanding Award in 2005 Industrial Servo-based Systems for their work "Autonomous Remote Monitoring Robot".
  • Shu-An Lee and Tsung-Ming Hung, received the Outstanding Award in 2004 Robot Soccer Competition for their work "Binocular Visual Servo Robot". This competition is held by Ministry of Education, Republic of China.
  • Shu-An Lee, received the Outstanding Award in  2004 Republic of China Automatic Control Conference Student Paper Competition.
